Apprentice Machinist (m/f/d)

Your tasks

In the 3½-year apprenticeship, you will learn how to independently process raw materials on modern lathes. In addition to the basic knowledge for the apprenticeship as a machinist, you will acquire specialized knowledge to create programs for CNC turning or milling machines. The profession requires a high quality consciousness, orderliness, reliability, and determination. • Preparing production orders for machining workpieces in a three-shift operation
• Setting up and preparing the machine
• Machining workpieces according to specifications
• Monitoring the production process and making corrections in case of deviations
• Inspecting finished workpieces (self-inspection) according to work instructions
• Performing basic repair and maintenance tasks
