With 75 years of experience in CO2 equipment and recovery systems, Pentair provides cost-effective, carbon intensity lowering, sustainable biogas upgrading systems.

The resulting biomethane produced from our biogas upgrading systems can be injected into the existing gas grid or used as renewable bio-CNG or bio-LNG to fuel your fleet of trucks. 

In combination with Pentair CO2 Technology, you can gain an additional carbon intensity lowering revenue stream: food-grade CO2.

Pentair Biogas Upgrading Solutions comprise of four biogas upgrading systems, with a CO2 Bolt-On in addition, detailed below.

  •  BioCompact - standardized system for small capacities (75/125/250/350/500/750 m3/h) 
  •  BioBasic - simple approach to biogas upgrading (> 1000 m3/h) 
  •  BioPlus - advanced approach for maximized bio-methane yield (> 1000 m3/h) 
  •  BioComplete - most comprehensive approach with two revenue streams: bio-methane and liquid CO2 (> 1000 m3/h) 
  •  BioAmine - Surplus heat in your production location available? Then our amine-based upgrading technology is the most cost-efficient solution for capacities from 3000 - 6000 m3/h and even beyond. 
  •  CO2Bolt-On - Create green liquid CO2 from upgraded biogas and the option to increase the bio-methane yield to 100%.
