The Haffmans CO2 Evaporation Heat Recovery System - LiquiVap is a heat exchanger designed to automatically evaporate liquid CO2 running from the CO2 storage tank(s). The required evaporation heat is provided by available ‘hot’ cooling medium, which during the evaporation process is cooled down. In this manner energy is saved which would otherwise be required by the cooling medium-cooling unit to lower the temperature of the cooling medium. This system operates parallel to the customers sites cooling medium system with bypass, valves and cooling medium pump care of the customer.
