Haffmans Turbidity Meter - VOS ROTA 2.0

The turbidity meter measures scattered light caused by particles using the following parameters:

• 90° measuring angle
• Red light source: 650 ± 30 nm
• Formazin calibration standard

Particles smaller than 1 µm (e.g., proteins) primarily cause scattered light and are measured at a 90° angle. Larger particles (e.g., diatomaceous earth and yeast), typically over 1 µm, cause forward-scattered light and are measured at a 25° angle.

Up to 10 calibration curves can be programmed. With product identification and memory functions, the VOS ROTA 2.0 enables full traceability of measurement data.

To perform a measurement, a sample (in a cuvette or bottle) is placed in the water-filled measuring chamber. The device automatically positions and rotates the sample, takes 100 measurements, and calculates the average value. Results can be exported to a PC and/or printed directly.
